i walked in and spent some time by the hearth, take photos, next to the 12-foot christmas tree, done up in the traditional style, ribbons and balls in red&gold. An angel watching over the top. We just had christmas and I was thinking maybe there's a reason we only have it once a year.

I heard the bells one christmas day,

their old familiar carols play,

and wild and sweet the words repeat,

of peace on earth, good will to men.

And in despair I bowed my head,

"there is no peace on earth", I said,

"For hate is strong and mocks the song"

Of peace on earth, good will to men.
